Anaheim Hills Homes Map
Anaheim Hills is a planned community in the eastern portion of Anaheim. It is just south of Yorba Linda opposite the 91 freeway. The area was taken over by Texaco Industries in 1970 with the intention of creating a planned community of about 7,000 homes. Development began in 1971. There are 23 community associations led by the Anaheim Hills Planned Community Association.
Anaheim Hills is part of the 42nd Congressional District. As for state government, the city is part of the 60th Assembly District and 33rd Senate District.

Anaheim Hills History
This area has been hit by several natural disasters. In 1982 there was the Gypsum Canyon Fire that caused $50 million in damage. In 2006 there was the Sierra Peak wildfire which burned over 10,000 acres of land. In 2007 there was the Windy Ridge fire that destroyed 2,000 acres. Finally, there was the 2008 Freeway Complex fire that destroyed more than 200 residences.
Anaheim Hills is home to some notable celebrities and athletes. Ashley Force (drag racer), Chuck Norris (actor), Craig Johnson (NHL player) and Alli Mauzey (actress) all reside here.
